Title: Irregular nonabelian Hodge correspondence on curves

Abstract: In this second lecture, we will complete the entire story by  introducing another type of geometric object: meromorphic Higgs bundles.  Then we will relate them with aforementioned meromorphic connections and  Stokes local systems to explore the irregular nonabelian Hodge  correspondence. This correspondence is applicable to general complex  reductive groups as the structure group. Based on joint work (and in  progress) with Hao Sun.
