题目:An effective version of Ratner’s equidistribution theorem for SL(3,R) 

摘要:in this mini course, I will first briefly survey recent progress on establishing effective versions of Ratner’s equidistribution theorem on homogeneous spaces. Then I will explain my proof of the effective Ratner’s theorem for non-generic one-parameter unipotent orbits on SL(3,R)/SL(3,Z). The key to the proof is to relate the problem to a Kakeya-type model. All the details will be explained.
