摘要: Affine geometry mainly studies the structures and properties of affine varieties which are similar to affine spaces, especially the automorphisms of these varieties. Hilbert’s 14th problem, the Jacobian conjecture, the tame generators problem for automorphisms group of an affine space, and Zariski’s cancellation problem for affine varieties, are all important problems in this field. In this talk, we will introduce the background and progress on the tame generators problem and Zariski’s cancellation problem including some of our works on the problems.
