课程摘要：
In these lectures, I will describe how to obtain the sharp Sobolev inequalities , Onofri inequality as well as Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequalities on the standard sphere. The classification of extremal functions via the method of moving plane will also be covered. I will also describe how to obtain  the sharp inequalities on compact manifolds, which include the proof of Aubin's conjecture, my early work with Y.Y. Li on the sharp trace inequality, as well as my recent work with X. X. Chen on the low bound for Liouville energy on two sphere. The course is designed for graduate students who are working in the close research area.
