摘要: In this first part, I will describe the work of G. Tian on the existence of Kahler-Einstein metrics on smooth Del Pezzo surfaces (two dimensional Fano manifolds). In particular, I will focus on the so-called alpha-invariant, an algebro-geometric invariant which gives a sufficient condition for the existence of a KE metric.
I will then introduce the notion of K-stability, a notion which turns out to be the correct algebraic counterpart to the existence of a KE metric in all dimensions, and which will be used in the second part when we will discuss the moduli space of Del Pezzo surfaces.
